My path into counselling began through coaching. In 2018, I stepped away from the corporate world and began training in life, relationship and personal development coaching, alongside a growing practice in mindfulness and meditation.
Following the COVID pandemic, I wanted to deepen the way I worked with people and went on to train as an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked within UK mental health organisations and charities, supporting people experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, abuse, loss, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, addiction and significant periods of change.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with experience across counselling, mental health recovery, coaching and mentoring settings.
I’m an existentialist at heart, influenced by existential and Stoic philosophy and the idea that we can learn to meet life as it is — with presence, curiosity and courage.
Meditation and somatic practice have also been part of my own life for many years. They have shaped my appreciation for slowing down, returning to the body and becoming more present with ourselves rather than continually trying to think our way through everything.
I’ve lived in four countries across three continents, which has given me a deep respect for culture, difference and the many ways we make sense of ourselves and the world around us.
I don't expect you to experience life as I do. Your story, values, culture and worldview belong to you. My role is to meet you there with curiosity rather than assumption.
I know that life can bring seasons where we feel lost, disconnected or uncertain about what comes next.
I also believe that we can find a way through — not necessarily by erasing what has happened, but by changing our relationship with it and coming closer to who we are.
I’d be glad to walk alongside you while you find your way.
